J. F. Stroud being sworn said my wife began having suffering spells and became swollen three weeks before confinement at which time she began [????] and got better for a week or ten day and became worse than she was be fore, called Dr. W. F. [???] she became better after treatment she went away one week and left medicine off and became worse and had bad spell and began medicine after she came home and [???] to gee better. I left home Aug 16 before she gave up I wrote her and asked her how she felt and she said very well. She had a headache when I came home in the [???], we occupy the same bed and the night she died I went to sleep around 10 oclock and when I wakeup sometime before day light Aug. 17, 1909 I found her dead.
J. R. Wagner M.D. being duly sworn said there being no evidence of foul play and the Jury not deeming a post mortem operation necessary the operation was not made. For the evidence of the attending physician and the witness it is my opinion that the deceased died from natural causes
