Johnson call me to Run there that his father was dying when I got to the old man which was not over 3 or 5 minutes from the time I left the old man he was sitting in his chair at the table rite where I left him and he was in kind of Sleepy condition looked like a man noding or drunk with his head hung down when I got to the old man O talked bolt of him and raised his head up and looked in his face his mouth was open and his Eyes closed (and appeared as if he was choked) the old man never spoke after i got to him. His left Side soon Became Cold from his head to his front and the Rite Side still remained warm his let sided did not have any pulse hardly viable his Rite Said pulse was regular and Strong. The old man drank a dram Before Sundown he only drank a dram with warter in it. The deceased was old and feeble & had bin going down in health for a long time . . . I have been living with the old man for three years . . . told me about a week ago that he was taking medicine . . .
