Transcription: 

Mathew Atkinson sown says I was sawing at Mr Cokers saw Mill in Chesterfield Count about 10 oclk on the morning. . . I had Oliver Lee helping me I had stoped the carriage for Lee to move a plank from near the saw though the saw was in motion Lee reached over the carriage to move the plank and in some way fell a cros the saw and had both his legs cut off near his body and died immediately.
