I followed General & Aren close to the house, he told General he was [?] Drunk but he was not out of his sense, he did not have much whiskey I left here soon after I only cam to the Steps, he called Elbert & commenced playing with them, he sit in the door in a chair he give General the bottle Sindy asked him for some whisky she got out of the window & run to Aren & got the whiskey ... I saw Sindy sitting in the window then I left. General & his wife Aren & Sindy was in the house when I left they all looked like they were friendly

Aren was teesing Sindy when he first came in & General told him to let her alone & let her take her rest, Aren told Sindy it was too soon to go to bed, they told me that after they found Sindy was dead they left & went to Randle Samuels where old Aren lived. I don't think she was fussy

I saw Sindy with some money on Saturday evening near sundown to the best of my knowledge it was about 150 or 200.
