Mr T.K. McKenny came to Tandy Holmes's house and brought a gun with him, Tandy was in the back yard making baskets, I was in the public Road. Mr Mckenny was also in the Road. He said to him donte mouth at me I will see you later. Tandy said see me now. He made a curse I then called to Mr McKenny to come to me. He went on when I drove up. Tandy he came to his gate Mr. McKenny had set his gun down at the gate. He called to his wife to bring his gun, he would shoot his damn heart out, he then got off of wagon and went toward Tandy with his knife in his hand, and Tandy picked up the gun Mr McKenny walked in the yard, and they got into a scuffle, both had had hold of the gun. Mr McKenny said I told you to let it loose Mr McKenny got the gun and struck at him two or three times but did not hit him Tandy then grabbed the gun and picked up a brush and beat Mr McKenny over the head with it. Mr McKenny then got the gun and struck Tandy one lick on the head he fell to the ground
