I went to Jane Gilchrist's house on Sunday and saw Marry Jane and her mother. I asked if Mary Jane had a baby and she said no. I then went home. Mary Gilchrist said that Jane Gilchrist told her that the child was buried on the hill towards John Springs I went there to look for the child I found the Child in a gully about seventy five yds from Janes house ... there was a rag or something around the childs neck

I saw Jane and Mary Jane I asked Jane had Mary Jane had a child Jane said no and Mary Jane said any body said so told a lie
