The boy then told witness & Mr. Benson that the doctor told him he was agoing down that morning to Mr. Elkins Pond to drown himself & wished him the boy to go with him & see him do it. They boy further said he thought the doctor was Joking, but said decd was after a little time missing

the last few days heard him say there was threats made against his life if he did not marry a certain woman in the settlement he said those threats were made by her son Wm Murphy and her brother William Lark, they would get him out and in some way torture him and Kill him. The witness insisted and told him there was no danger that they dare not hurt him, he would Still say it would be or that they would do it. Thinks he was rational enough on all subjects except this
