Henry Ivey witness Sworn Sayeth that on the night of the 15th May 1847 at his own house after he had eat his supper him Self and his sister Salley Ivey was in his dwelling house when his deceased Sister was found to be missing and they boath went out to look after her, as they had cause to fear that She might doe her Self Some hurt this deponent[?] States that they found her lying dead behind the Smoke house with an open Rasor lying by her her throat was cut and the Rasor was blody and that he has no cause to think anything else than that She done the murder with her own hands
