3 white boys were in the river and they offered deceased fifty cents if he would go into the water. Boys said it was not deep. deceased walked some time into the water & stepped off into deep water. swam about six feet & then sank.

Ed Dawkins being duly sworn says he is a brother of the deceased.... approaching river some 3 white boys were in the river and they offered deceased fifty cents if he would go into the water. Boys said it was not deep. deceased walked some time into the water & stepped off into deep water. swam about six feet & then sank.
