Joseph Daniel sworns says--Edwar Daniel died on the 25th day of July 1886. Myself, Doc Fedo Allison, Judson Allison were in company with Edgar Daniel before his death. We four boys were in swimming yesterday in Borad River of Mr. Allison's place. All of us could swim but Edgar Daniel the dec'd. Edgar Daniel stepped in water over his head. Dock & Judson Allison had gone out & were on the bank of the river when Edgar got in the deep water. Myself & Fedo were in the river with the decased & we were good piece from him & he got in a sluice & was carried down the river. I saw the dec'd next last night & he was dead. Joseph his mark Daniel
