Mrs. Nancy Canty was sworn.
Said she found Anthony in her kitchen hanging, was very much frightened or surprised and does not recollect an tyhign afterwards but that she sent for his master Thomas Shannon who came and took him down. X Nancy Cantey

Thomas E. Shannon was sworn.
Said when he came Anthony was still hanging but warm; he took him down and had Dr. George Reynolds to use some means to resussitate him which proved in vain. And that Anthony had appeared dull and low spirited for some time past.
