I have known the dec'd for 8 or 10 yrs he was 71 yrs old. He was my miller[?] has been with me for two yrs. He was very careless about the saw. I have cautioned him frequently. About 0 oclock on Yesterday ... as the dec'd went to pull a plank over the saw the carriage was [?] and the saw caught the plank and caught him and cut both legs the right arm and cut his throat be bled profusely. I stayed with him until he died. He did not speak. He died in about three hours or less time. I was the only one who saw it. He was not drinking.
