[2nd witness] Mary Lou Nelson who being duly sworn deposes and says Saw Kittie Malone bring deceased down stairs. This was last Saturday about 10 oclock in the day. Deceased was then dead. Witness did not see marks of violence on deceased. . .Kittie Malone stated in presence of witness that deceased was her - Kittie Malones child - and had been dead and appeared to regret it. . .Witness has heard as a rumor That Kitty Malone lived D M Sanders as a concubine and that she had previously to this time been accused of being pregnant. Kittie Malone told witness that the father of deceased was a man named David White, who lives in Alabama. Kittie Malone who being duly sworn deposes and says she is the mother of deceased. . .Deceased was born with the umbilical cord around his neck but witness does not know whether that or a fall she got on Friday night was the cause of his death. . .
