Charley Robertson sayes he. . .found this man about 2 p.m. three little boys were with me. This is Badgetts Xing 2 1/2 miles from L.C.H. on the Laurens and Newbury RR. I found a dead man, (a colored man) he was lying in the ditch his in about a foot of the ties he was bare headed a cap was lying on the rail cut by the train. . .
