Berry Fowler being sworn says. . .came home about midnite I found Lucie Fowler lying on the bed asleep with her head out of the bed with her brest across the childs head. The child was lying on its face I struck Lucy asked her what she was laying that way for she waked up I picked the child up and. . .milk was running out of its mouth. I struck it and found it dead. . .
